Rebecca graduated from The University of Sydney in 2003 with a Bachelor of Applied Science Occupational Therapy.
Rebecca has worked for Family and Community Services – Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) and more recently a non government organisation. During this time Rebecca has worked across all ages providing occupational therapy interventions to people with intellectual and physical disabilities in schools, day care centres, group homes and homes.
Rebecca has also worked in London for Southwark Social Services with individuals requiring home modifications to support them living independently.
Rebecca has worked as a Consultant Occupational Therapist for government and non government organisations providing clinical supervision to Senior Occupational Therapists as well as coordinating and facilitating training to occupational therapists of all levels of experience. This role has allowed Rebecca to see the importance of clinical supervision in the workplace to ensure best practice.
Kate graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science Occupational Therapy- Honours Degree in 2003. She has over 16 years experience working in the disability sector through her employment with Family and Community Services- Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) and The Benevolent Society.
During this time she has gained experience in providing a range of occupational therapy services to people with intellectual and physical disabilities in the community setting and has a particular professional interest in the areas of equipment prescription and addressing the transport safety needs of people with a disability.
Kate also has experience in working as a clinical supervisor supporting Occupational Therapists with varying levels of experience across the government and non government sector. She is extremely passionate about promoting life long learning and tailoring supervision and mentoring support to the needs of the individual. Kate has obtained a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and has experience in facilitating training sessions and communities of practice across a range of clinical areas.
